What is Title 24 Acceptance Testing?
Title 24 Acceptance Testing is the certification of a projects lighting controls system. It includes state submission of an Acceptance Testing report by a certified Acceptance Testing Contractor & Technician.
Why do I need it ?
The certification ensures that the lighting control system is designed, installed, and programmed correctly to satisfy the Title 24, part 6, Lighting, Non-Residential building code. Many city inspectors are now enforcing this state mandate by requiring this certification before they will sign off on the final inspection of the project.
